From Positive Parenting to Including People with Disabilities into Your Community,  Vicky is sure to meet your specific needs.  A graduate of UT Knoxville, she owns Trainings and Workshops, and Floortime Nashville, and has worked with children, families, and adults with some type of challenge for nearly 30 years.

As a Certified Recreation Therapist, She spent 16 years working with children in mental health and adolescents and adults in drug and alcohol rehabilitation. During the past 14 years, as a Certified Parent Educator, she has been teaching parenting classes and working with children with sensory processing disorders, autism, Asperger's syndrome, ADD, Down syndrome, and other developmental disabilities. She also does inclusion trainings, behavior management trainings, facilitating children's drum circles, while working with the "high spirited child".  She presents trainings to childcare centers, afterschool agencies, community organizations, and summer camps. 

She is a member of the International Network for Children and Families, The Interdisciplinary Council on Developmental and Learning Disdorders, The Autism Society of Middle Tennessee, International Loving Touch Foundation, National Parks and Recreation Association, American Therapeutic Recreation Association, and is currently launching a training for churches and other organizations to include all children and adults with disabilities into programs and activities, called “A Friend of James.” She has authored two books, Toobezz for Seniors, and A Friend of James: A Community Respite Model.
